SUREFIT Project Dissemination: Training with UC Factory Academy

Oncontrol, was invited to give a presentation on the Surefit project as part of the “Sensors and Digital Twins” course in the Management of Sustainable and Intelligent Cities degree at the University of Coimbra. The presentation took place on November 19th for more than 20 students.

Sensors and Digital Twins

A digital twin is a representation of a human, device, system, or process that replicates an actual process and has full knowledge of its historical performance. Digital twins drive agility and the convergence of understanding to enable effective decision-making and to determine strategies in order to maximize safety, reliability and profitability by simulating devices, systems or processes to forecast future performance.

The UC Factory Academy

The UC Factory Academy is a program aimed at students of Engineering or the STEAM areas (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) of the University of Coimbra, so that they can develop various competencies that will give you enormous advantages for the job market!
