Highlights from the Surefit Webinar – Greek Demo in Peristeri, Athens
On the 13nth of January 2025, we had the pleasure of hosting an insightful webinar to showcase the Greek Demo in Peristeri, Athens, a key milestone in the Surefit Project. This initiative has transformed a 1981 building into a model of energy efficiency using innovative retrofitting technologies. The event brought together experts and participants who share a passion for sustainable energy solutions.
Event Highlights
The webinar began with a warm welcome from Themis Sarantaenas (AMS), followed by an overview of the Surefit Project presented by Sergio Tadeu (ISQ). Attendees were then taken on a detailed journey of the Greek Demo site by Maria Pappa (AMS), who highlighted the building’s transformation pre- and post-renovation.
We also had the privilege of hearing from:
- Pedro Vilela (CJR), who delivered an engaging presentation on prefabricated façade panels technology.
- Mahmut Buker (SOLIMPEKS), who discussed the PV thermal system technology.
- Chris Benson (UNOTT), who shared insights into PV vacuum glazing window technology.
Each presentation demonstrated the groundbreaking approaches used to achieve energy efficiency in the Greek Demo, emphasizing Surefit’s commitment to sustainable building practices.
